Spraggins Law Firm, LLC – The COVID-19 Closing Policy

The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is worldwide and has affected the State of Georgia. Governor Brian Kemp signed an Executive Order on March 14, 2020 declaring a Public Health State of Emergency.  For as long as the Public Health State of Emergency is active, Spraggins Law Firm, LLC will implement in-person closing guidelines and preventative measures as follows:

  • Buyer(s) and Seller(s) will be scheduled to appear and to execute documents separately.
  • All in attendance from the firm must wear gloves and face masks.
  • Social distancing must be maintained to the maximum extent possible.
  • Each party signing a document is provided with their own blue pen.
  • No handshaking is permitted.
  • Sanitizer and/or sanitary wipes will be available, upon request.

Our firm will also travel to someone’s home or office to close a real estate transaction.
